Technicolor Trinity: An LED Hoop Experience feat. Blu Hoopz and Bright Heart Circus
Bright Heart Circus is a passionate and energetic variety performance duo that features long-time friends Allie T. and Kendall Rae. Their shows invite audiences to connect with their hearts and feature empowering themes, a wide range of whimsical skills, and their famous 10 hoop feats. In their ninth year performing at the Festival, Bright Heart Circus has teamed up with one of their favorite artists: BluHoopz, a vibrant performer and hoop instructor. She loves to mix hoop dance with her signature tech to deliver jaw-dropping sass with class.
Between these 3 powerful performers, you can expect to see vibrant choreography that captures neon dreams and weaves them into the night sky!

Presenting: Technicolor Trinity
The focus of their new piece is the power of what’s possible when we work together. Dance numbers that play with shapes and formation work to create unique patterns infused with an essential sense of ‘goofballery.’
“Seeing our city illuminated with art at the Portland Winter Light Festival is one of our greatest joys each year. We love how it inspires and awakens everyone in our city! A favorite memory is performing at World Trade Center last year, and looking up to see folks laying in the sky bridge to watch our show from above!”

more Events Featuring Hoop Performances: Hoop Jam and Flash Mob
Kendall Rae will be hosting a Flash Mob followed by a Hoop Jam.
The flash mob and following hoop jam are open to everyone that wants to learn the choreography! Kendall Rae has extra LED hoops to share and invites anyone to reach out with questions via Instagram (@hoopwithkendall). And for anyone who doesn’t ‘hoop,’ please join for the spin jam after the flash mob! PDXWLF is excited to welcome these artists back to the Festival year after year.
“[Hoop is] a special place to connect with your body and transmute emotion into art…an environment where people gather to share skills, connect, empower themselves through movement, and lift each other up. This is what inspired me to pursue teaching and building community here in Portland- and is the seed of our annual flash mob and spin jam!”
