Morrison Bridge Lights

Are you one of the thousands of locals and visitors who enjoy the LED lights on the piers of the Morrison Bridge? The Bridge Lighting Program puts the power in your hands. Choose the colors that illuminate the Morrison Bridge 365 nights a year, sparking conversations and raising awareness for causes and events that matter to Portlanders.

The Willamette Light Brigade raised the necessary funds, shepherded the design and installation of these low-energy LED fixtures and donated them to the County. The County has contracted with WLB since July 2009 to solicit and process applications from the public and relay approved color choices to the Bridge Shop–on a first come~first served basis. We have been pleased to fulfill requests from individuals and groups with a wide range of causes, events and milestones to celebrate.

The Willamette Light Brigade, in partnership with Multnomah County, expanded the Morrison Bridge Lighting Program in 2024 with a seasonal lighting initiative programmed by Chris Herring that celebrates Portland’s changing seasons through vibrant displays on nights not reserved for specific events.
