Live Music: Arietta Ward & Peter Knudsen at World Trade Center

Arietta Ward, affectionately known as Mz. Etta, is a vital force in Portland’s music scene. She began her musical journey alongside her mother, the late pianist and Northwest legend Janice Scroggins. Known for her versatility, she has been a featured artist-at-large at the 2023 Sawtooth Valley Gathering, a staple of the Waterfront Blues Fest, and opened for Macy Gray at the Elsinore Theatre.Peter Knudsen is a Chicago-born, Portland-based multi-instrumentalist who has toured internationally with Ghost-Note and MonoNeon, and performed with Grammy Award–winner Lucky Daye. Locally, he collaborates with Lo Steele, Outer Orbit, and his band, greaterkind.Together, they form a dynamic duo blending soul, grit, and undeniable musical chemistry.
