Diaphanous Lattice

Kaleidoscopic imagery projects across layers of translucent fabric, creating a luminous holographic field of depth and motion.

This installation invites viewers into a space where light becomes a living architecture and perception stretches between scales. Multiple layers of translucent fabric are illuminated with changing patterns, allowing the imagery to refract, diffuse, and drift through parallax. The layered screen behaves like a breathing membrane, responding to every shift in pattern and color.

Alongside this dimensional projection, two small terrariums act as earthly counterpoints. Within them, plants and insects cast unexpectedly large, colorful shadows, grounding the experience in the tangible and biological. The piece gestures toward the shared architecture of scales, reminding us that the scaffolding of galaxies is also in “all the little things”.
