Winter’s Guiding Grove
Feb 6-14, 6–10 PM
Lost or not, The Grove beckons! Let your curiosity ponder mandalas and sacred geometry as the lamps draw you toward your hidden side within.
Winter’s Guiding Grove is a futuristic vision of harmonious cohabitation, where nature, technology, and the vibrant spirit of Portland converge. This year, the Portland pride is enriched through a collaboration with local artist Ryan Kerrigan for an immersive experience of hand drawn mandala artwork featured atop the lamps.
These enchanting lanterns, meticulously laser-cut from wood and illuminated by dancing addressable LED lights, cast mesmerizing shadows of interconnected leaves and geometric patterns. They not only guide curious onlookers through the festival but also invite introspection and a deeper connection between mind and spirit.
ON VIEW & FOR SALE You can find select works by this artist for sale on consignment at official Portland Winter Light Festival merch booths at select anchor locations during the Festival.
