Pulse
Feb 6-14, 6–10 PM
Pulse brings the hidden underground network connecting these trees to life with vivid visualizations of light.
Pulse is an exploration of our connection to nature, often overlooked as we pass through it every day. Deep underground, the trees create a network with their roots, allowing them to share nutrients, energy, and information with each other. They can sense things happening near them and share it with the other trees in the forest.
Pulse brings this hidden network to life by suspending a large LED ring around each tree, allowing the tree to express its current state in real time through vibrant visualizations of light.
You are invited to sit back and watch the forest create stunning visualizations of light, or walk through the forest, immersing yourself amongst the trees, and discover how the forest reacts to your presence.
