Lights in Lents V: Community “Living” Room

A community art “living” room project inspired by nature, bioluminescence, and all the little things that make up our earth: cells, moss, our stories!

The Lents, Rose CDC, and East Portland Collective community created a “Living Room” display for Winter Light Fest! This is our fifth year participating in PDXWLF – the community art project is inspired by nature, bioluminescence, and all the little things that make up our earth – cells, moss, individual stories. Book-making & story telling activities scheduled throughout the evenings!

One of our neighbors had a dream of making a moss covered reading nook, and we’re taking her inspiration and extending it to our entire exhibit. As a community art project, the art will evolve as YOU join us with opportunities to experience the space, hear & share stories, and create from our own experiences and imagination.
