Lamina + Infinity Crystals

A beautiful collection of larger than life glowing leaves hangs above a set of magical Crystals composed of infinite light reflections.

Our piece “Lamina” as it is a collection of plant leaves made from light. In plants, “lamina” is another word for the thin surface of the leaf blade. While the typical plant’s lamina absorb light for photosynthesis, ours do the opposite, instead emitting light from the glowing veins of the leaf. We view these types of deciduous leaves as a beautiful symbolic concept because they represent necessary change.

The Lamina leaves hang from above, as if from tree branches, and the Infinity Crystals sit below as if growing from the ground. One exciting part about the Infinity Crystals is that some of the exotic optical forms visible inside a kaleidoscope (from only a specific angle) can be seen in this piece from any angle.
