Dodecahedron Kaleidoscope is an infinity mirror sculpture based on the geometry of the twelve-sided Platonic solid.
Dodecahedron Kaleidoscope is an infinity mirror light sculpture derived from the geometry of the dodecahedron, a twelve-sided Platonic solid long associated with harmony, proportion, and the underlying structure of space. Each mirrored face acts as both boundary and portal, fragmenting light into a continuously unfolding kaleidoscopic field that appears to extend infinitely beyond the physical object.
As viewers look around the sculpture, subtle changes in angle and proximity produce shifting patterns of symmetry and depth. Precisely programmed LED light animates the interior, revealing repeating geometries that oscillate between order and complexity. The result is an immersive visual experience contained within a finite form.
