Diatomorama
Feb 6-28, 6–10 PM
Peer into the tiny world of out of this world diatoms!
Peer into three giant magnifying glasses that are daring you to lean in and take a look. What you find on the other side is not a textbook science moment—it’s a full-on microscopic party. A wild world of diatoms explodes into view, glowing under UV light like they just crawled out of another dimension and immediately decided to start a dance club.
These tiny weirdos spin, hang, wobble, and swarm with chaotic joy, as if gravity is more of a suggestion than a rule. They are strange, glowing, and delightfully alive—proof that even the smallest worlds are absolutely unhinged.
These diatoms were created by the artists from Roboto Octopodo – the same crew that brought you the immersive art experiences FATHOM and PRISM.
