Portland Adult Soapbox Derby Cars

The Portland Adult Soapbox Derby is an annual gravity race of homemade Art and Science cars down Mt. Tabor in Portland. The Derby celebrates it’s 27th Annual Race in 2026. The PASD is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run by an all-volunteer board and race-day is run by a team of over 150 volunteers. Come join us on Saturday, August 15th, 2026 and watch these homemade creations of Art and Engineering careen down Mt. Tabor for fun, silliness and bragging rights. Attendance is FREE!
