Cocreating Dragons

Feb 9, 11 AM – 6 PM (carving) Feb 9 – 10, 6 PM – 10 PM display

A group of ice carvers will be revving their chainsaws on a literal ton of ice! The process of carving the ice blocks will take place in the day before the night falls. Afterwords, the finished “ICEterpiece” will be on display for 2 nights, slowing transitioning back into the earth.

Here the artists will be carving a pair of dragons, one from the West and one from the East. Both dragons, with their own unique gifts, one of fire and the other water, will be cocreating a heart.
At their worst, opposites can destroy each other by aggressively comparing the differences. However, opposites can utilize their differences to create a cohesive outcome.
