A Lamp to Read Seuss By
The Lamp consists of a pillar with an inverted hollow bowl at the top. The pillar grows gradually narrower as it rises, forming a twisted spire. The hemisphere is formed of many polygons, each with a carving related to creatures and things about Portland. Inside the hemisphere there are four color-changing lights casting images onto nearby walls. Together, the piece is roughly three feet square at the base, rising to seven feet tall at its peak.
